Unlock iPhone 4 from O2 Without Ultrasn0w – Is it Possible?

Hi guys, I have an iPhone 4, it is completely jailbroken on iOS 4.3.3 using PwnageTool However, prior to iOS 4.3.3 jailbreak, my brother said (the original owner of the device) he already jailbroke it on iOS 4.3 using Redsn0w and I will not be able to unlock it from O2 as he already updated the baseband of the device. Is there any other way to unlock my iPhone even without using Ultrasn0w? Thanks.

Hello Joakin, unlocking iPhone on any network has never been easier. In fact, you could unlock any iPhone on any baseband and firmware, not with Ultrasn0w carrier unlocking software but with hardware unlock utility called Gevey SIM or Gevey Pro. Unlike Ultrasn0w, you don’t need to jailbreak your iPhone in order to unlock it from its contracted mobile phone carrier. However, due to some issues associated with Gevey SIM and other features of the iOS, it is highly recommended to jailbreak the iPhone first and activate is using SAM to make all features working smoothly on the unlocked iPhone. You can follow this tutorial on how to unlock iPhone 4 on iOS 4.3.3 with Gevey Pro.

For those iPhone 4 users who are currently locked to O2 who are not fan of jailbreaking the iPhone but want to unlock it so that they can use their device on any carrier, then you will be glad to know that you will be able to unlock your iPhone without using Gevey SIM or Ultrasn0w. All you have to do is fill up this form and wait for the confirmation of O2 people.
