No Keyboard Sounds in iPhone 4 After iOS 5.0.1 Jailbreak

Ok so I decided to restore my iPhone 4 tn iOS 5.0.1 and then rejailbreak it using Sn0wbreeze to preserve its current baseband. But after booting my iPhone into tethered mode, my keyboard click sounds as well as the notifications sounds are gone. I have already checked the settings to make sure that necessary options are turned ON but no luck. Anyone else experiencing this problem? Thanks.

Hello Jerome! Well, it seems like this bug has nothing to do with the jailbreak as some of our readers are also reporting the same issue after restoring their iOS devices to iOS 5 and iOS 5.0.1 firmware. This error could be a bug on the latest iPhone firmware and could only be fixed with the new software update from Apple, which is expected to be released to general public as iOS 5.0.2 or iOS 5.1.

Anyway, while waiting for the software update, you can try to hard reset your iPhone by using following instructions and check if the problem gets fixed or not.

Hard Reboot:

Step 1: Press the Home button and the Power button simultaneously.

Step 2: Continue holding both buttons until the iPhone shuts itself off and begins to restart.

Step 3: Release both when you see the silver Apple logo on your screen.

Additionally, try to restore and rejailbreak your iPhone 4 on iOS 5.0.1. And this time, I would recommend you to use Redsn0w 0.9.9b8 instead Sn0wbreeze. The tutorial on how to jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 using Redsn0w 0.9.9b8 can be found here. Good luck!
