How to Jailbreak Factory Unlock iPhone 4 4.2.1 Baseband 3.10.01?

Hello, I have just purchased a factory unlocked iPhone 4 and I am currently using it over T-Mobile network. The device is running on iOS 4.2 1 firmware with baseband 3.10.01. I want to upgrade it to the latest firmware version (iOS 4.3.?) and jailbreak it. Now, my question is, will be able to jailbreak my iPhone without losing its unlock? Also, which method is the best to jailbreak, what jailbreak tool should I use to jailbreak my iPhone? Thanks.

Hello Robert, since you have a factory unlock iPhone, you will not lost your unlock even your restore or unlock your iPhone to iOS 4.3.3 or jailbreak it. In fact, you will gain more features once you jailbreak your device. I would recommend you to backup iPhone 4 iOS 4.2.1 SHSH Blobs using TinyUmbrella so that you will be able to downgrade it to the previous version of the firmware if you have accidentally upgraded your to iOS 4.3.4.  Once done, then restore your iPhone 4 to iOS 4.3.3 by connecting your iOS device into iTunes via USB cable. After restoring it to iOS 4.3.3, you can jailbreak it using JailbreakMe 3.0 (easy to use but quite buggy) or with Redsn0w 0.9.6rc16 (stable but a bit complicated in comparison to JailbreakMe) for Mac OS X and Windows.

Once you got your iPhone jailbroken, you can check some of the links posted below in order to add more futures on your device through downloading and installing non-Apple third-party applications and card apps.
