iPhone 4 Automatically Reboots After iOS 5 Jailbreak with Redsn0w 0.9.9b5

Hello guys, I have updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5 and then used Redsn0w 0.9.9b5 to do a tethered jailbreak. After jailbreaking, I have started downloading some of my favorite Cydia apps, such as MyWi, 3G Unrestrictor, SBSettings, and few more. Then the next day and every day after jailbreaking, my iPhone randomly reboots, at-least 3 to 4 times a day. Sometimes it reboots while I am on call or browsing the Internet. Any ideas to fix this? Thanks in advance.

Hello Nick! Well, aside from MyWi, 3G Unrestrictor, and SBSettings, have you installed any suspicious app or tweak from Cydia Store on your jailbroken iPhone? Have you tried to update your jailbreak apps? Anyway, you can check this blog post for a complete iOS 5 supported jailbreak apps. Or download and install Crash Reporter from Cydia Store via BigBoss repo to help you fix this error. This app has capability to determine which apps are (works on both iTunes and Cydia apps) causing you the error.

On the other hand, restoring your iPhone to stock iOS 5 firmware and jailbreaking it might fix the issue. But this time, do not restore from backup, instead do a clean restore as there are possibilities that your backup contain some busted data. Just download the stock iOS 5 firmware from here and restore it using iTunes 10.5 (hold down the Option key, click on Restore and locate the downloaded iOS 5 .IPSW file). Once completely restored on iOS 5, you can refer on this tutorial to jailbreak iOS 5 using Redsn0w. Good luck!
