iPhone 3GS Unresponsive After Jailbreaking on iOS 4.3.3

Hello, I just jailbroke my iPhone on iOS 4.3.3 yesterday using JailbreakMe 3.0. However, I have noticed that my device gets very unresponsive and laggy after jailbreaking it. Some of the apps that I have downloaded from Cydia are not working, and most of them are available in iTunes under different names. Anyway, is there a way to make this iPhone working smoothly again? Or how can I un-install the jailbreak completely? Thanks.

Hello Patrick, first I want to state that this is a very rare case. In-fact, jailbreaking (and unlocking) will unleash the full potential of your iPhone by adding more features and functionality into the device. Well, you are right that most of the apps available in iTunes can also be downloaded in Cydia Store under a different name. However, most apps available in Cydia Store can be downloaded a lot cheaper (and most of them are absolutely free) in comparison to some apps available in iTunes App Store. Anyway, regarding your concern, you probably have downloaded an outdated version of Cydia / jailbreak apps or the apps / tweaks that you installed on your iOS device does not support your firmware. You can check for available app updates under Changes section in Cydia.

On the other hand, you can easily un-install the jailbroken software on your device by simply restoring your iPhone to iTunes. However, you should note that restoring your iPhone to the latest iPhone firmware (the iOS 4.3.5) will not just remove the jailbreak of your device, but you will also lose the ability to untethered jailbreak your iPhone 4 if you have decided to jailbreak again. This is primarily because the untethered jailbreak exploit used in JailbreakMe 3.0 and other jailbreak tools is not working on iOS 4.3.5. Though you can save iOS 4.3.3 SHSH Blobs using iFaith SHSH Blobs Dumper, this is still risky because there is possibility that you will not be able to downgrade even you have saved iOS 4.3.3 SHSH Blobs.
