iPhone 3GS Baseband 6.15.00 Stuck in Recovery Mode Loop

Hi guys, my iPhone 3GS with iPad baseband 6.15.00 installed got stuck on recovery mode after jailbreaking it multiple times. I tried to re-jailbreak this phone because my Cydia was not working. So I restored it to custom iOS 4.3.3 using my saved iOS 4.3.3 SHSH Blobs, but since then I am not able to use this phone.

Hello Allan, your iPhone is stuck in endless recovery mode loop. This error is quite common when restoring custom iPhone firmware on jailbroken iPhone. Do you use iREB to restore the custom firmware into your device? Anyway, you can easily fix this error with the help of the standalone TinyUmbrella (Fix Recovery). You can check the tutorial posted below on how to kick iPhone 4 out of endless recovery mode loop using TinyUmbrella (Fix Recovery)

Step 1: First, you will need to download TinyUmbrella (Fix Recovery) for your Mac or Windows.

Step 2: Download Zlib1.dll from here and put it in the same location where fixrecovery43.exe is located.

Step 3: Then connect your iPhone 3GS into the computer via USB cable and power OFF your device (connect it to USB 3.0 port).

Step 4: Then launch TinyUmbrella (Fix Recovery) as well as iTunes and then put your iPhone into DFU mode.

  • Press and hold the Power and Home button for 10 seconds.
  • Then release Power button after 10 seconds but continue holding the Home button for another 10 seconds.

Step 5: That’s it! TinyUmbrella (Fix Recovery) will do the job to fix the error.

On the other hand, if you want to unlock your iPhone 3GS, then you can refer on this tutorial on how to unlock iPhone using Ultrasn0w 1.2.3.
