Facetime Not Working on iPhone 4 After Jailbreaking iOS 4.3.3 with JailbreakMe

Hello Jaxov, for some unknown reasons, FaceTime video calling feature on my iPhone 4 seems like not working after jailbreaking my iPhone using JailbreakMe 3.0 on iOS 4.3.3. This is a factory unlocked iPhone which I got from eBay couple of months ago. Any fix for this? Thanks.

Hi Ronald, are you using the local SIM card of your area? If yes, then, unfortunately, Apple’s FaceTime video chat doesn’t support your mobile phone carrier. But, since you are using a jailbroken iOS device, you will be glad to know that you can easily activate FaceTime video chat on your iPhone by simply installing a tweak. To do that, just simply follow the step by step guide posted below:

Step 1: First up, launch Cydia app from the springboard of your jailbroken iPhone and then tap on Manage tab on the bottom, followed by Sources.

Step 2: Then tap on Edit and add as new Cydia repository.

Step 3: Once the repository has been added, go to Search and look for FaceTime Hacktivator in Cydia.

Step 4: From the search result, just simply select and install FaceTime Hacktivator. The app will automatically patch all the files required for the FaceTime so that you will be able to use it on your device.

Step 5: Then reboot your iPhone and then go to Settings –> Phone and then tap on the FaceTime toggle to activate it. Your iPhone 4 will send an international SMS in order to activate FaceTime.

That’s it! You can now enjoy FaceTime in your area.
