Can’t Exit iPhone 4 Emergency Call Screen Using TinyUmbrella (Fix Recovery)

My iPhone 4 got stuck in recovery mode loop trying to restore pre-jailbroken custom iOS 4.3.3 firmware file which was created using Sn0wbreeze 2.7. So I followed your TinyUmbrella (Fix Recovery) tutorial to kick my iPhone 4 form recovery mode loop. I thought that I already fixed my problem as I reached the last step and my desktop was already showing that I am “Exiting libpois0n” however it just pushed me back to “Emergency Call”. What’s wrong with the tutorial?  Any idea how to fix this issue? Thanks.

Hello Sammy, I am 100 percent that there is nothing with our tutorials and tips as our iPhone experts tested it out first to make sure that they will work before posting it. Regarding the Fix Recovery, most readers who used the tutorial have managed to kick their jailbroken iPhone from Recovery Mode loop. Anyway, in your case, to kick your iPhone out of Emergency Call screen, all you need to do is pop in the official SIM card in your iPhone that came locked from its official / contracted mobile phone carrier (you can use other locked SIM card – from a friend or relative - if you don’t have the official SIM card of your iPhone) and then connect it to iTunes so that you can activate your iPhone to iTunes.

The “Emergency Call Screen” error occurs because you did not check the Hacktivate option while creating the pre-jailbroken custom iOS 4.3.3 IPSW file using Sn0wbreeze 2.7. iPhone Hacktivation is required when using an iPhone without an authorized carrier.
