Can’t Unlock iPhone 4 on iOS 4.3.3 Using Gevey SIM

Hey Jaxov, I’m an iPhone 4 user. The thing is, I have successfully unlocked my iPhone 4 from AT&T and used it over T-Mobile. All is working well. But my wife ran a software upgrade last week and restores my iPhone 4 and her iPhone to iOS 4.3.3 (04.10.01 modem firmware) through iTunes. But the new iOS removes the unlock, I can’t use my T-Mobile SIM, where all my contacts were listed. So repeat the instructions on how to use Gevey SIM but still doesn’t work. Should I get a new Gevey SIM and try again? Will I be able to unlock on iOS 4.3.3? Please help. Thanks.

Hello Shid, it seems like there’s nothing wrong on your Gevey SIM as you made it work flawlessly over T-Mobile network. Yes, Gevey SIM is working on iOS 4.3.3 and even on the first beta version of the iOS 5. But, do you hacktivate your iPhone first before you unlock it using your Gevey SIM? Though Gevey SIM works even without jailbreaking the iPhone, it is highly recommended to hacktivate the iPhone first through jailbreaking before you unlock it with this type of hardware unlock tool in order to make other features works smoothly, such as the FaceTime video chat and other features of the iOS.
