Open Your Favourite Web Links Using Gestures Using RapidLinks

If you are someone who uses iDevice a lot when surfing the internet then you are most likely guilty of visiting the same websites over and over again. If that's the case, then you will need a quick way to access your favorite websites in order to save time. iOS does offer plenty of ways for you to do that such as saving the sites as bookmarks, making a shortcut from the Springboard or install RSS readers. But here's a much faster option via Cydia that will enable you to browse frequently accessed web links.

Cydia Logo
The name of the tweak is called RapidLinks from author rvirajm. Basically what this tweak does is that it allows you to save five of your favorite links and call them up using Activator gestures. You can enter five different URLs from the configuration menu of the tweak found in After that, you may also bind the URLs to five different Activator gestures. By doing this, you will now be able to easily access your favorite links anywhere within the iOS. This saves you a lot of time because you do not have to launch Safari and type the web address manually or access your bookmarks.

Just make sure that when saving the URLs, make sure that you include the “https://” with the URL or else, the links will not work. You will be notified by the tweak if you did enter the URLs in the wrong manner. Once you have applied all changes, wait for your device to respring.

As most of you know, to start using RapidLinks, a jailbroken iPhone or iPod touch is required. Here are some tutorials that you may use. For users who are currently in iOS 5.1.1 and want the latest untethered jailbreak, feel free to use the following guides: Absinthe | Redsn0w | Sn0wbreeze

I must say that RapidLinks is a great jailbreak tweak that allows you to open favourite web links using shortcuts and gestures. RapidLinks is available in Cydia under the ModMyi repo for FREE.
