Corona 1.0-7 Now Live in Cydia to Fix iBooks DRM Issue on iOS 5.0.1, Download Now!

Over the course of the history of jailbreaks, one can only say that it is becoming a lot harder for the hackers and exploit finders to crack the security of Apple's mobile operating system. This is because the Cupertino company has been stepping up their game with regards to combating the practice of jailbreaking. Fortunately, the jailbreak community has members that are willing to sacrifice their own time and resources just to make sure that your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch stays free. With that said, a new update for the Corona untethered jailbreak is now available in Cydia.

The much awaited iOS 5 untethered jailbreak was not without its flaws, I know for a fact that a lot of users have been experiencing a lot of problems with it. But probably the most prevalent issue lies with iBooks, which initially won't even work after applying the jailbreak. This is one of the many steps that Apple has taken to discourage people from jailbreaking their device. But such issue has been fixed with Redsn0w 0.9.10b4 / Corona 1.0-5.
Corona 5.0.1 Untether 1.0-7
Yesterday we have brought to you a report regarding the release of Redsn0w 0.9.10b5 which was meant to fix another problem with iBooks which is the DRM issue. Corona 1.0-6 was shortly released after that but Saurik made a quick tweet acknowledging that 1.0-6 had dependencies that made it refuse to install on an original iPad. So Corona 1.0-7 has been released to address this problem. Corona 1.0-7 should be live on Cydia right about now, so we recommend that you install it for a much better jailbreak experience.

I am experiencing quite frequent sim and wifi signal drops while using some of the apps, like maps and jotnot scanner. On corona 1.0.8 version.
