Appfront: Skype, Viber & WhatsApp Combined into One Jailbreak App [VIDEO]

Some of the most popular apps that are found in the iTunes App Store are those that belongs to the category of Social Networking. As good as they are, stock iOS apps simply lack in features which makes users seek for alternatives. Now we have a jailbreak app for you that combines three of the most popular social networking apps found in the App Store.

Appfront Jailbreak App
The name of the jailbreak app in question is called Appfront. Basically what this app does was to integrate three of the most popular social networking apps that varies in function. The three apps are Skype, Viber and WhatsApp. So it ties down three apps into one interface which of course makes it highly convenient for the user. To give you a clear idea of what this jailbreak app does, here's a video:

As you can see, it is a pretty good idea and from the looks of it, executed rather well too. However, this jailbreak app is still very much limited. First, Appfront works on the iPhone only, so sorry iPad and iPod touch users. Second, this app is currently not available for iOS 5 which seriously cripples the app considering that it is the latest numbered OS. But the developers have promised that they will be updating the app for iOS 5.
Appfront Jailbreak App 1
Appfront is a great app for those who loves their social networking apps. It is now available in Cydia for $1.99 under the BigBoss repository.

Before you can download and install Appfront, you will require a jailbroken iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. For users who have installed the iOS 4.3.5 IPSW, you can use our Redsn0w tethered guide. But if it is an untethered jailbreak that you want, go ahead and download the iOS 4.3.3 IPSW and restore to it. Then just pick one of the following tools: Redsn0w / Sn0wbreeze / PwnageTool / JailbreakMe (highly recommended for beginners). [via RedmondPie]

Very good idea and implementation…But if we can choose what we want, that’s even more better… (Fring, LINE etc…)

@jimbb Yeah, it was executed rather well and being able to choose the kind of services to include would be awesome.

As it is, the app is rather limited.
