Chronic-Dev Team Still Working With iPad 2 Jailbreak Along With Other Exciting Projects

A few days ago we reported to you that jailbreak developer Comex has been working on what is believed to be the jailbreak solution for the iPad 2, and in his own words it is "almost ready". Now according to a tweet by iPhone hacker and Chronic Dev Team member Joshua Hill also known as p0sixninja, the team is still working on the iPad 2 jailbreak.

According to the said tweet, p0sixninja assured the folks back at Twitter that the iPad 2 jailbreak is still under way and that the team is also working with other "exciting" projects:
P0sixninja Tweet

We're still diligently working on both the iPad2 jailbreak & lots of other exciting projects. Sorry, & thanks for your patience!

Other than that, no other details like release dates were provided by p0sixninja. It is also worth noting that Chronic-Dev team posted in their blog not too long ago that the iPad 2 jailbreak will be coming soon. Well, if you are someone who's been waiting for an iPad 2 jailbreak, this doesn't exactly counts as news but at least you will be assured that the project is still up and running.

As mentioned before, Comex is also working on a new version of JailbreakMe that will take advantage of a PDF exploit that is located within Safari. This particular jailbreak won't even require your iPad 2 to be connected to a computer. Comex says that the project is almost ready.

iPad 2 owners that have been waiting forever for a jailbreak solution have a lot of reason to be excited. We will just have to wait and see.
