Jawbone JAMBOX just updated their software so that it can play binaural recordings. It totally justified the $200 price tag it has, as if it wasn’t already justified! I was up to 3:00 am playing with this website and some youtube videos that utilizes binaural recordings. The name for the JAMBOX software is called LiveAudio and it works perfectly. The virtual barbershop sounds just like it does with headphones on. I could not believe it!!! Now they’re working with record companies to get them to record more of their music in binaural format so that we can enjoy it on our JAMBOX!!!

Most people under the age of about 25 can not hear the sound because it is so high piched. I tried it. It was just a joke, just like screamer videos. I’m 15 so i can hear it by the way.

O corte de cabelo em 3D é muito divertido. A imersão é total. E o sussurro do barbeiro no ouvido, então? huahuá…

Efeito muito bom. Imagine só assistindo um filme de terror com esse som 3D, vai ser difícil aguentar a tensão!

The haircut is great fun in 3D. The immersion is total. And the barber whispers in the ear, then? Huahua …
Very good effect. Imagine watching a horror movie with this 3D sound, it will be difficult to bear the tension!

Just the first two sounds are interesting, the others are boring.

Try to download mp3 sample and turn up the volume. It’s 18kHz sine wave (barely audible) – play-pause-play should help to catch it. At the moment i can “hear” the similar freq sounds in my head, so it’s not helping but can hear that 18kHz anyway.

    Zach11 years, 11 months ago

Don’t get discouraged about the under 20 one. I am 29 with hearing loss in my family and tinnitus of my own but I can hear the horrible shreak if I turn up the volume on my rather hi-fi stereo.

If you have crumby speakers you would likely not hear it if you were 10.

soon to be 25, hear the terrible tone no prob.

I really love the barbershop one. I always thought the whole binaural thing was for meditation and relaxation and the such. I’d love to find more like the barbershop. that was funny and really really impressive. I twitched when the electric razor was by each ear! haha

The interrogation chamber that we made is the same type of recording as the barbershop one. It is a lot more serious and scary though, like a B-style thriller movie :P
