Hi, I am using a unjailbroken iPhone 3GS running on iOS 4.3.3 firmware. Now what I want to do is upgrade my jailbreak to the latest version of iPhone firmware and then jailbreak it. Is there anything I would need to do to prepare my iPhone for software update and jailbreak? Can I unlock my iPhone after jailbreaking it? I have used JailbreakMe to jailbreak this device on iOS 4.0. Can I use the new version of JailbreakMe to jailbreak the new firmware? Thanks.

So before you jailbreak your iPhone on iOS 4.3.3, I would recommend you to save the SHSH Blobs of your device so that you will be able to downgrade it if you have accidentally restored the latest version of iPhone firmware. To do that, you can check this tutorial on how to grab the SHSH blobs of iOS 4.3.3 using iFaith even if Apple has stopped signing it. After saving your iOS 4.3.3 SHSH Blobs, you can refer on this guide on how to jailbreak iPhone 4 using JailbreakMe 3.0.
