Unable to Save iOS 4.3.3 SHSH Blobs Using iSHSHit App

Hi, just want to ask for advice regarding the best tool to save SHSH Blobs. I just got the iSHSHit app and try to save iOS 4.3.3 SHSH Blobs on my jailbroken iPhone 4. However, it seems like iSHSHit is not working on my iPhone 4. What’s wrong with iSHSHit? Thanks in advance!

Hello Rovic, you will not be able to save iOS 4.3.3 SHSH Blobs of your iPhone 4 using iSHSHit due to the fact hat Apple already stopped singing the iOS 4.3.3 firmware file after releasing the iOS 4.3.4 and iOS 4.3.5 firmware couple of weeks ago. The Cupertino-based iPhone maker released these firmwares to permanently patched the jailbreak exploit in iOS 4.3.3 that was utilized by Comex to jailbreak the iPad 2 using his new JailbreakMe 3.0 tool.

Anyway, you can use iH8sn0w’s iFaith SHSH Blobs Dumper to save iOS 4.3.3 SHSH Blobs. Unlike TinyUmbrella and iSHSHit, iFaith has capability to backup the SHSH Blobs even Apple already stopped signing the firmware that you want to backup. You can download iFaith version 1.1 using this download link. You can also follow the step by step guide posted below on how to use iFaith to backup your SHSH Blob:

Step 1: Launch the downloaded iFaith 1.1. Click OK to proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Then click “OK” after reading the disclaimer.

Step 3: Now, click on the “Dump SHSH” button. Read all the info and click “Proceed”.

Step 4: Click on ‘Let’s Go’ to start the dumping process.

Step 5: iFaith will ask you if you are dumping an Apple TV 2, indicate it when iFaith asks you.

Step 6: iFaith will prompt you to put you iPhone 4 into DFU mode. Just simply follow the on-screen instructions to place your device in DFU Mode.

  • Press Power and Home for 10 Seconds
  • Release the power button, but keep holding the Home button for another 10 seconds

Step 7: Once in DFU mode, iFaith will start the SHSH Blobs dumping process of your current firmware. It will go through each step which could take a few minutes.

Step 8: When completed, iFaith will ask you where to locally save the SHSH.
