Hi! I'm trying to restore my iPhone from iOS 5.1.1 to 5.1.1. I know for a fact that Apple is not signing iOS 5.1.1 anymore and I will be needing the necessary SHSH blobs in order to upgrade. I've downloaded TinyUmbrella and used it to acquire my SHSH blobs. I've noticed that the SHSH blobs that are in bold is only iOS 6.0. With that, I have stitched the iOS 5.1.1 IPSW through Redsn0w, with the SHSH blobs and all. When I enter DFU Mode, then use RedSn0w to enter Pwned DFU Mode, and then use the custom IPSW to restore, I get an iTunes 3194 Error. This is despite the fact that the HOST file is empty of any gs.apple.com.
When I place my device in DFU Mode, use RedSn0w to enter Pwned DFU Mode, then launch TinyUmbrella and enable TSS server, my phone is stuck in "Preparing iPhone for Restore" when I use iTunes to restore. This goes on for a few minutes, then it gives iTunes error 1602.
Just wondering what is it that I'm doing wrong. Please I need help to restore my iPhone from iOS 5.1.1 to iOS 5.1.1.

Greetings Eli! In this case, the best course of action is to do away with TinyUmbrella altogether. You won't be needing it. Just download the latest version of Redsn0w (Redsn0w 0.9.15b3) as everything will be handled automatically. Launch Redsn0w > Extras > Even More > Restore and browse for the iOS 5.1.1 firmware and use remote blobs. This will pretty much automate the process without the need for manually stitching the blobs. Let it run and you should be able to create an IPSW that will enable you to restore from iOS 5.1.1 to iOS 5.1.1. This is of course considering that you indeed have the necessary SHSH blobs for iOS 5.1.1. Otherwise, a restore process is not possible. For a more detailed guide on how to restore iOS 5.1.1 to iOS 5.1.1, the process should be very similar to this tutorial. Hope this helps!
