Hi guys, I have a non-jailbroken iPhone 3GS running iOS 4.1, I downgraded it form iOS 4.3.3 just moments after I jailbroke it using Redsn0w. The purpose of the downgrade is due to battery issue. Anyway, what I want to do is upgrade my firmware back to iOS 4.3.3 to get an untethered jailbreak. My problem is, I have formatted my desktop and I lost my SHSH blobs backup. So my question is can I restore iOS 4.3.3 firmware on my device even without SHSH Blobs? I remembered that I restored this phone a month ago to iOS 4.3.3 directly using iTunes. Thanks.

Anyway, since you have previously restored iOS 4.3.3 on your device, you will be glad to know that you will be able to restore iOS 4.3.3 by creating a signed iOS 4.3.3 using iH8sn0w’s iFaith SHSH Blobs Dumper. If you aren’t aware, iFaith is a new must-have tool for jailbreakers, and one of the main features of this tool is capability to create a signed IPSW as well as pull out SHSH Blobs even Apple already stopped singing the firmware. To do that, of course, you will need to download iFaith v1.1 from here as well as the stock iOS 4.3.3 using this link. Then you can follow this tutorial on how to create a signed iOS 4.3.3 using iFaith. So after restoring your device to iOS 4.3.3, you can now jailbreak it using JailbreakMe 3.0.
