Push Notification Not Working After Unlocking iPhone 4 Using Gevey Pro

Dear Sir, I have an iPhone 4 and I can’t figure out how to fix it. Just last week, I have managed to unlock my Phone 4 on iOS 4.3.3 using Gevey Pro, but recently, I have noticed that my Push Notification are not working. I haven’t experienced this error before I unlocked my iPhone. Now, I don’t receive any Push Notifications on iPhone apps like WhatsApp, Facebook, emails, Windows Live Messenger, and on any other applications installed on my device. Any solution for this problem? Please advice. Thanks.

Hello Jordan, the Cupertino, California-based Apple are already aware that their Push Notification system on their iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch is broken, so they hired Peter Hajas – the app developer of the uber popular Mobile Notifier app for jailbroken iPhone – to work on their new notification system that will be available in iOS 5 (but you don’t want to wait for the iOS 5 to fix your Push Notifications, don’t you?). In your case, the only way to resolve your problem is through jailbreaking. Though, you don’t really have to jailbreak your iPhone in order to unlock it with Gevey Pro primarily because of it is a hardware unlock, and it work smoothly on iPhone 4 running on iOS 4.3.3. However, with Cydia – the alternative App Store for jailbroken iOS devices – you can easily fix this issue by simply installing some jailbreak apps.

So if you want to jailbreak your iPhone 4 in order to resolve your issues, then you can follow this tutorial on how to jailbreak iPhone 4 using Redsn0w 0.9.6rc16 for Mac OS X and Windows. Once jailbroken, just simply refer on this tutorial to activate your iPhone 4 using SAM.

Once done, you can now install Push Doctor app to fix iOS Push Notification as well as YouTube error on iOS 4.3.3. You can also check an awesome iTunes app called iPusher to determine if your Push Notification system is working or not. Hope this helps.
