No Wi-Fi and Cellular Signal After Unlocking iPhone 3GS with Ultrasn0w
Hi, I have an iPhone 3GS and it is jailbroken on iOS 4.3.1. I have iPad baseband 6.15.00 installed and unlocked using Ultrasn0w tool. However, I can’t use it because it has no Wi-Fi and cellular signal. I want to use it over T-Mobile network. Anyway, is there any fix available to resolve this use? Thanks.

Hello Wilmer, may I know what version of Ultrasn0w
do you used to unlock your iPhone
3GS? Is it Ultrasn0w 1.2? If yes, then you are probably experiencing 1 signal bar bug. Just to make sure, you can dial *3001#12345#*
to know what is your signal strength. Then compare the signal result of your iPhone with any other unlocked iPhone. To fix this bug, you can download and install Ultrasn0w 1.2.3
. This bug occurs primarily because of the fact that the Cupertino-based iPhone maker has implemented a new ASLR
security feature in iOS 4.3.x which broke Ultrasn0w 1.2.
To download and install Ultrasn0w, just fire up Cydia and navigate to repo666.ultrasn0w.com and search for Ultrasn0w. From the search results, just simply select Ultrasn0w and install it. Reboot your iPhone 3GS once downloaded and installed. That’s it!
