Jailbroken iPhone 3GS Asking for Activation After Installing Jailbreak Apps From Cydia
Hello people, I am using a jailbroken and unlocked iPhone 3GS running iOS 5. Yesterday, I downloaded and installed some apps from Cydia, such as AndroidLock XT and some iOS 5 Notification Center tweaks. After installing, I went to settings but instead of opening settings menu, my device respringed and now it is stuck at activation screen, asking me for the original SIM card which I do not have anymore as I depend on Ultrasn0w unlock for almost 2 years. What do I need to do? Thanks.

Hello Paolo, it seems like AndroidLock XT is not compatible with iOS 5 / iOS 5.0.1
firmware as we are hearing similar reports associated with this app. Anyway, before anything else, I would recommend you to uninstall Android lockXT from your device by launching Cydia and then navigating to Manage
tab. Now, regarding the activation, you can use any AT&T SIM card (or any SIM card to which your iPhone is locked) in order to activate your iPhone to iTunes. Just simply pop-in the SIM card, connect it to iTunes
and follow the onscreen instructions to fully activate your iPhone. Well, if you don’t have any access to any AT&T SIM card, then you don’t have to worry as you can still activate your iPhone even without using a official SIM card. You can easily activate your device by installing an app from Cydia Store called SAM. If you aren’t familiar with SAM, then you can check our step-by-step guide posted here
on how to install SAM app on jailbroken iPhone 3GS.
On the other hand, regarding iOS Notification Center tweaks, you can check this blog post for our top 10 best iOS 5 Notification Center tweaks and widgets. That’s it! Good luck...
