Hi guys, I just jumped into the world of iOS and everything about jailbreaking and unlocking is new to me. Anyway, I have a brand new iPhone 4, which I just restored to iOS 4.3.5. I asked AT&T for an unlock code so that I could use it over other networks, but their representative told me that the device cannot be unlocked. I already ordered a new Gevey SIM Pro and downloaded Redsn0w 0.9.9b1 for Windows. How can I unlock this phone using Redsn0w and Gevey? Thanks.

Regarding your concern, you will be able to unlock your iPhone using your Gevey SIM after jailbreaking and hacktivating it with Redsn0w 0.9.9b1. However, due to numerous negative feedbacks and reports associated with the newly released Redsn0w, it is wiser to jailbreak your iPhone using the previous version of Redsn0w. In your case, since you are on iOS 4.3.5, I would recommend you to jailbreak your iPhone using Redsn0w 0.9.8b7. You can download the Windows version of Redsn0w 0.9.8b7 using this link (Mac OS X users can get Redsn0w 0.9.8b7 from here). Then follow this guide on how to jailbreak iPhone on iOS 4.3.5. Then once completely jailbroken just simply activate your iPhone using to iTunes and official SIM card or with SAM. Then use this guide to unlock your iPhone on iOS 4.3.5 using Gevey SIM Pro.
