Jailbreak iPhone 4 on iOS 4.3.5 without Internet Connection Using Redsn0w 0.9.8b4

Hi guys, I have no Internet connection at home and I wanted to jailbreak my iPhone 4. So I downloaded and saved the stock iOS 4.3.5 IPSW file as well as Redsn0w 0.9.8b4 on my flash and transferred it to my PC at home. After setting up my PC, I launched Redsn0w and put my iPhone in DFU mode but then it stopped at "Uploading Ramdisk" step after selecting my IPSW. Any other options? Thanks.

Hello Lytle, unlike any other jailbreak tools, Redsn0w will work and will jailbreak your iPhone without needing to connect your computer to the Internet, unless if you are using the new Redsn0w 0.9.9b1 (over-the-air jailbreak) or jailbreaking an iPhone 3GS / 3G by updating its baseband to iPad 6.15.00. This is because the tool need to connect to Apple server in order to download the iPad baseband files. The “Uploading Ramdisk” error has nothing to do with Internet or with iTunes. To fix this error, you will need to run Redsn0w as administrator in Windows XP SP2 / 3 compatibility. You can follow the tutorial posted below on how to do that:

Step 1: Open Redsn0w properties by right-clicking on the downloaded Redsn0w.exe and choosing Properties from the context-menu.

Step 2: Then switch to Compatibility tab and then select Windows XP (Service Pack 2) as the compatibility option. Then click OK button to close the window.

Step 3: Now you have to right-click on Redsn0w.exe and select Run as administrator from the context-menu.

Step 4: Run Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete and then click on the Processes tab.

Step 5: From the Processes tab select redsn0w.exe and then choose Set Affinity...

Step 6: Then set the Process Affinity to CPU 1 only.

Step 7: Close the window by clicking the OK button.

After applying these steps, you will now be able to jailbreak your iPhone 4 on iOS 4.3.5 using Redsn0w 0.98b4. Also, you can follow this guide on how to use Redsn0w.
