Ok, so I got my iPhone jailbroken on iOS 4.3.5 using Redsn0w 0.9.8b4 and unlocked it with Gevey SIM. But after jailbreaking, my Wi-Fi stopped working. I’ve already tried resetting my Network Settings. I am certain that doing a fresh restore to iOS 4.3.5 again will definitely fix the problem. However, I always get iTunes error 2005 when restoring iOS 4.3.5 using iTunes. Can anyone help me to bypass this error? Thanks in advance.

- This is probably a hardware issue, therefore I would recommend you to use a different USB cable as well as connect your iPhone in a different USB hub – preferably USB 2.0 or 3.0, and connect your iPhone directly on your computer (no USB extensions or anything). Try connect your iPhone at the back of the chassis.
- Update your iTunes. It is always recommended to use the latest version of iTunes specially when restoring an iOS device. You can download iTunes 10.4.1 for your computer using this link.
- Check the drivers of your USB hub (if any). Update them if necessary.
To fix your Wi-Fi issue, you can download and install Ultrasn0w version 1.2.3 from Cydia. Well, aside from unlocking the iPhone, Ultrasn0w has also capability to fix various Wi-Fi and cellular network issues. Also, check the IP address being acquired by your iPhone. If your IP starts with 169, then you should reset your router or modem to fix this issue.
That’s it. Hopefully you will be able to restore your iPhone to iOS 4.3.5 without getting any error.
