Hello! I have downloaded Sn0wbreeze 2.8b8 and the final version of iOS 5 for my iPhone 4. So I got my iPhone 4 jailbroken on iOS 5 by restoring the custom firmware so that I could preserve my baseband for future unlock. However, after restoring, my iPhone got stuck at the pineapple logo, then it just went into recovery mode loop.

Then to restore your iPhone to custom iOS 5 firmware I would recommend you to use the new Redsn0w 0.9.9b6. Yes, the new Redsn0w has capability to create custom IPSW file just like PwnageTool and Sn0wbreeze. However, this process is available for Mac OS X only – the iPhone Dev Team have promised that they will also implement this feature on the Windows version of the Redsn0w 0.9.9. You can check this blog post to know more and download the Redsn0w .9.9b6. Once you have downloaded the tool, just follow this guide on how to create custom IPSW file and how to unlock iPhone 4 on iOS 5 using Gevey SIM. Good luck!
