iPhone 4 Got Bricked After Jailbreaking iOS 4.3.5 Using Redsn0w 0.9.8b4
Hi guys, I need some help here. My jailbroken iPhone 4 got bricked while I was on a vacation trip and left me without a phone for at least a week. What I should do to get this phone working again? I jailbroke this phone on iOS 4.3.5 using Redsn0w 0.9.8b4. I also have the latest version of iTunes installed. I would appreciate any assistance I can get. Thanks.

Hello Marlon, your iPhone 4 is not bricked you just have to boot it in tethered jailbreak state using Redsn0w. For your information, this version of Redsn0w offers tethered jailbreak only and there’s no untethered jailbreak support available for iOS 4.3.4
and iOS 4.3.5 at the moment. And the untethered jailbreak exploit used on iOS 4.3.3
is not working on iOS 4.3.4 and iOS 4.3.5 due to the fact that Apple released these firmwares to permanently patch the exploit. If you aren’t aware, tethered jailbreak means you have to connect your iPhone to the computer to power it on. On the other hand, untethered jailbreak is computer independent. Meaning, you can boot your iPhone with the need to connect (tether) the device into the computer. Anyway, you can follow the step by step guide posted below on how to boot iPhone 4 into tethered jailbreak stat using Redsn0w 0.9.8b4
Step 1: Download Redsn0w 0.9.8b4 (Windows | Mac OS X).
Step 2: Connect your iPhone (iPod Touch or iPad) to your computer.
Step 3: Launch the downloaded Redsn0w jailbreak tool and follow the on-screen instructions.
Step 4: Select the Just boot tethered right now option (shown in the screenshot posted below).
Step 5: That’s it! The jailbroken iPhone will now boot with the aid of Redsn0w.
