I have just jailbroken my iPhone 4 for the first time on iOS 4.3.4 using Redsn0w 0.9.8b3. However, after rebooting, some apps icons such as the Phone, Messages, Safari, iTunes, and iPod app icons are all gone. So, I connected my iPhone back to my computer and re-jailbreaked it but it only proved to worsen my problem. My iPhone is now stuck in recovery mode. How can I fix this? Thanks in advance.

Hello Corix, this error can be fixed easily by just restoring stock iOS 4.3.5 on your iPhone to iTunes. But first, you need to kick your iPhone out of recovery mode using the standalone version of TinyUmbrella (Fix Recovery). If you aren’t familiar with the steps, then you can follow the step by step guide posted below on how to use TinyUmbrella (Fix Recovery):
Step 2: Download Zlib1.dll from here and put it in the same location where fixrecovery43.exe is located.
Step 3: Then connect your iPhone 4 into the computer via USB cable and power OFF your device.
Step 4: Now, launch iTunes as well as the downloaded TinyUmbrella (Fix Recovery) and put your iPhone into DFU mode.
- Press and hold the Power and Home button for 10 seconds.
- Then release Power button after 10 seconds but continue holding the Home button for another 10 seconds.
Step 5: That’s it! TinyUmbrella (Fix Recovery) will start fixing the error on your device.
Once done, you will not be able to see the missing iPhone app icons. To fix that, all you have to do is restore your iPhone to stock iOS 4.3.5 using iTunes. You can check this blog post to know more and download the stock iOS 4.3.5 for your iPhone 4.
Regarding iOS 4.3.5 jailbreak, you can use Redsn0w 0.9.8b4 to tethered jailbreak iPhone 4 on iOS 4.3.5.
