Hello Jaxov, I’m using a jailbroken iPhone 4 running on iOS 4.2.1. I want to upgrade it to iOS 4.3 or iOS 4.3.3. Is there any way or possibility for me to keep the current settings and apps that I have downloaded in jailbreak 4.2.1? Can you guys help me to upgrade my iPhone’s operating system and jailbreak it easily without losing any of my apps and stuff. Thanks in advance..!!!

To download PkgBackup, just simply launch Cydia and then select Utilities under Sections and then select PkgBackup form the list of Packages. Then press to Purchase PkgBackup from the Cydia Store for $3.49 and install it on your iPhone. To backup your data, just simply launch the newly installed PkgBackup app and select app packages that you want to backup. If you want to backup your Springboard layout, then you should turn the Include Layout switch to ON. Then press the Backup button to begin backing up your application list. Once finished, Pkgbackup will prompt you to sync your iPhone to iTunes. Just simply sync your data to iTunes and make sure that iTunes successfully completes a backup during the sync process. Once restored to the firmware and jailbroken, just simply reinstall PkgBackup and restore your previous settings.
On the other hand, regarding jailbreaking your iPhone, you can jailbreak your iPhone 4 on iOS 4.3.3 using Redsn0w 0.9.6rc16. This jailbreak tool is compatible for both Mac OS X and Windows-based machine. You can follow our step by step guide for detailed instructions and screenshots on how to use Redsn0w 0.9.6RC16.
