How to Restore iPhone to iOS 4.3.3 to Get Unlock Without SHSH Blobs?

Hi, I got my first iPhone 4 last week, it was already running iOS 4.3.3 so I jailbroke it using JailbreakMe 3.0. Now, I want to restore it back to iOS 4.3.3 and jailbreak it using Redsn0w because JailbreakMe makes my iPhone a bit laggy. So I used TinyUmbrella to save my SHSH blobs but the tool says that it had saved only iOS 4.3.5 SHSH blobs. Also, will I be able to unlock my iPhone after PwnageTool jailbreak? Thanks.

Hello Abbie, Apple has already stopped signing iOS 4.3.3 SHSH blobs and there’s no way you will be able to save the SHSH blobs of your device using TinyUmbrella. But fortunately, iH8sn0w’s iFaith SHSH Blobs Dumper can do the trick for you. You can follow this guide on how to save iOS 4.3.3 SHSH blobs using iFaith. Then once you have created the SHSH blobs of your device, you can now create a signed iOS 4.3.3 using iFaith and the saved SHSH blobs. The steps on how to create signed IPSW using iFaith can be found on this tutorial. Once you have successfully restored your iPhone to iOS 4.3.3 you can now jailbreak it using Redsn0w 0.9.6RC19, which can be downloaded on these links: Mac OS X | Windows. The tutorial on how to use Redsn0w can be found on this blog post.

PwnageTool has no capability to unlock your iPhone. The purpose of PwnageTool, as well as the Sn0wbreeze, is to prepare your iPhone for Ultrasn0w unlock by preserving the unlockable baseband of your device from getting upgraded while restoring and jailbreaking the new firmware. Once you have preserved the unlockable baseband of your iPhone, then you will be able to unlock your iPhone using Ulltrasn0w software-based unlock. But, in your case, you will not be able to unlock your iPhone using Ultrasn0w as your device is already running on unsupported baseband (4.10.01).

On the other hand, if you really want to unlock then you can use Gevey SIM Pro to free your iPhone from AT&T. The detailed tutorial on how to unlock iPhone 4 on iOS 4.3.3 using Gevey SIM Pro can be found here.
