How to Jailbreak iPhone 3GS & iPod Touch 4G on iOS 5 Untethered?
Hi, I bought a jailbroken iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch 4G running on iOS 4.3.3 firmware. Since the iOS 5 Beta 1 is now available (for registered iOS developers only), I want to upgrade either my iPod Touch 4G or iPhone 3GS on iOS Beta 1 to try the new features. But, is there a possibility to get untethered iOS 5 jailbreak? Please guide me to untethered jailbreak iOS 5. Thanks. By the way, I am using Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit.

Hello Khalev, both Redsn0w 0.9.8b1
and Sn0wbreeze 2.8b1
is now available for download and it has capability to jailbreak iOS 5 beta 1 on all iOS devices. But, unfortunately, there’s no untethered jailbreak support available for your iPod Touch 4G. However, you will be glad to know that you will be able to get untethered iOS 5 beta 1 jailbreak on your iPhone 3GS. iH8sn0w, the well known iOS hacker behind the ubër popular Sn0wbreeze jailbreak tool has just released a new version of Sn0wbreeze
jailbreak tool that has capability to untethered iOS 5 Beta 1 while preserving the unlockable baseband of the device so that it can be unlock using the latest version of Ultrasn0w. Again, as mentioned above, Sn0wbreeze 2.8b2 will only offer untethered jailbreak for iPhone 3GS users.
If you want to untethered jailbreak iOS 5 beta 1 on your iPhone 3GS then you can download the Sn0wbreeze 2.8b2 using this download link. And if you have a developers account, then you can download iOS 5 beta 1 from the iOS Dev Center. You can follow our step by step guide on how to untethered jailbreak iOS 5 using Sn0wbreeze for Windows.
