How to Fix White Cydia Icon Bug Without Re-Jailbreaking iPhone?

Hello Jaxov, I just jailbroke my iPhone 3GS using Greenpois0n on iOS 4.2.1, downgraded from iOS 4.3.3 which was jailbroken using Sn0wbreeze. All is working well after the jailbreak. Cydia is working, other apps is working, and Wi-Fi. However, after installing WinterBoard my Cydia app crashes. So I immediately reboot my iPhone then after the reboot Cydia turns to white. How can I fix this? I’m using Windows 7 32 bit. Thanks in advance.

Hello Wu Jin, this is quite normal. In fact, this also happens with other non-jailbreak apps. But there are few steps that you can do to fix white Cydia icon bug on your iPhone 3GS, you can try to launch and close the app a couple of times, as well as perform a hard reboot couple of times. But if these tips don’t work, then you can try these steps to fix white Cydia icon:

Step 1: Launch Cydia (the white one)
Step 2: Then followed by tappingon the “Manage” tab at the bottom.
Step 3: From the Installed list, select “Cydia Installer”.
Step 4: Now tap on Modify” button located at the top right.
Step 5: Lastly, tap on “Reinstall” button.

That’s it, just wait for the app to complete the reinstallation process. Reboot your jailbroken iPhone once done. If you still got the white Cydia, then you should rejailbreak your iPhone to fix it. You can follow our step by step guide on how to untethered jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 using Sn0wbreeze 2.2 R3, PwnageTool 4.2, or with Greenpois0n RC5.  I hope this helped you.How to Fix White Cydia Icon Bug
