Hello! My iPhone 4S which is jailbroken in iOS 6.1.2 using Evasi0n has crashed. It is now caught in a never-ending loop with the Apple logo showing up. First thing I tried is pushing the "+" volume button when booting up but with no results. Another thing I did try is to put it my iPhone in DFU mode so I can restore it. However, at the beginning of the restore, I always encounter the iTunes error 9. I have tried restoring both in Windows and Mac but I am still met with the same iTunes error 9.
So is there any way that I can fix this? Even if I have to restore to iOS 6.1.3 and lose my jailbreak altogether. Or perhaps this is a hardware problem? It would be great if you could help this guy out. Thanks!!

This error occurs when the device unexpectedly loses its USB connection with iTunes. This can occur if the device is manually disconnected during the restore process. This issue can be resolved by performing USB troubleshooting, using a different USB dock-connector cable, trying another USB port, restoring on another computer, or by eliminating conflicts from third-party security software.
So simply visit the links posted to take you to Apple's troubleshooting steps. Since you've tested this in two different machines but you still ran into the same iTunes error 9, it's likely that there's something wrong with your USB cable. You can try another cable and see if it fixes the problem. If not, then I am afraid that there might be something wrong with the device's connector. In which case, I would recommend that you take it to Apple to have it fixed. Hope this helps!
