Hello, my iPhone 3GS is running on iOS 4.3.3 and I am trying to jailbreak it. However, every time I try to restore the jailbroken iOS 4.3.3 IPSW through iTunes, I get error 1002 right at the end of the firmware restoration process. Can anyone give me some advice to fix this? Thanks.

On the other hand, of you haven’t upgraded the baseband of your iPhone to iPad’s 6.15.00, and then I would recommend you to create a signed iOS 4.3.3 using iFaith SHSH Blobs Dumper (as Apple already stopped signing iOS 4.3.3 firmware) and restore it to your iPhone through iTunes (if you are getting the same error on restore stock iOS 4.3.3 then this could be a hardware failure). If you rely on unlock, then you don’t have to worry because you can still jailbreak and unlock your iPhone using Redsn0w and Ultrasn0w even after restoring it to stock iOS 4.3.3 by updating its baseband to iPad 6.15.00. You can refer on this tutorial on how to jailbreak iOS 4.3.3 using Redsn0w. Then the tutorial on how to unlock iPhone using Ultrasn0w 1.2.3 can be found here. Or, if you don’t care about unlocking and just want jailbreak, then the easiest and fastest way to jailbreak an iPhone on iOS 4.3.3 is through JailbreakMe 3.0.
