How To Fix Error Missing keys.plist During iOS 6.0.1 Jailbreak

I've updated my iphone 3GS to iOS 6.0.1 with Redsn0w preserving BB (06.15.00). In the process of jailbreaking there's "key.plst missing" error. Now I'm stuck in the activation state. How can I successfully jailbreak. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

How To Fix Error Missing keys.plist During iOS 6.0.1 Jailbreak

Hello Tim! We have have received multiple comments from our readers who decided to jailbreak their device running iOS 6.0.1 and got the same "Missing keys.plist" error and we've encountered it during our jailbreak process, so stay cool, we have just the right solution for you.

In order to fix the Missing keys.plist error, here are the steps you should follow:First of all, we recommend you to close Redsn0w, turn off your iPhone and unplug it from the PC.

Now as part of the Missing keys.plist error fixing process, plug in your iPhone and without launching Redsn0w put your device in DFU mode. If you can't put your iDevice into DFU mode (essential to this process) please follow our tutorial.

As soon as you put your iPhone into DFU mode, launch Redsn0w and go to Extras > Select IPSW > and select iOS 6.0 IPSW.

We know you have taken the necessary steps already to jailbreak your iDevice, but you'll need to select jailbreak once again and select to install Cydia. After your iDevice booted on, turn off the device.

As a key step in fixing the Missing keys.plist error you'll need to close Redsn0w, unplug your iDevice and put it in DFU mode. When done, open Redsn0w and navigate to Extras > Select IPSW > select the iOS 6.0 IPSW again.

Now you go to Extras > Just Boot and see your iPhone rebooting. That's it!

This is the only way to fix the Missing keys.plist error. Hope it helps!

What exactly happens? Any error messages? What kind of device are you trying to jailbreak? If it’s iPad 2 or newer then you can’t jailbreak iOS 6.0 and newer.
