How to Downgrade iPhone 3GS on iOS 4.3.5 Back to iOS 4.1?

Hey, I want to downgrade the iPhone 3GS with firmware version 4.3.5 back to iOS 4.1. I have already jailbroken this phone on iOS 4.1 but I made a mistake by updating its firmware to iOS 4.3.5. So now, I would like to know how to downgrade my iPhone 4 back to iOS 4.1 and how to use TinyUmbrella to get SHSH blobs?

Hello Seth, you can use iH8sn0w’s iFaith SHSH Blobs Dumper to create signed iOS 4.1 IPSW even if Apple already stopped signing this firmware. You can refer on this step by step guide on how to create signed IPSW file using iFaith tool.

Regarding SHSH blobs, basically SHSH blobs is a signature to a firmware for your specific device, which means you cannot use the SHSH blobs of other iOS devices due to the fact that every device has its own unique SHSH blobs signed to the ECID of that device. Previously, you can only save the SHSH blobs of your iOS device using TinyUmbrella or AutoSHSH Grabber, now you will be able to save your SHSH blobs using Cydia, iSHSHit and iFaith.

Anyway, for your information, you can check this blog post on how to use TinyUmbrella for downgrading iPhone firmware. Lastly, you can jailbreak your iPhone 3GS on iOS 4.1 using Sn0wbrezePwnageTool, or Limera1n jailbreak tools.
