How to Downgrade iOS 4.3.5 to iOS 4.3.3 to Get Untethered Jailbreak?

I have a slight issue with my jailbroken iPhone 4. So I upgraded it to iOS 4.3.5 yesterday to fix the problem. Now that I got my issues fixed, what I want to do is downgrade it back to iOS 4.3.3 and then jailbreak it with JailbreakMe. I have the SHSH blobs saved using TinyUmbrella but iTunes is throwing error 29 every time I am connecting my iPhone to iTunes. How can I downgrade it?

Asked by: Arwin from Scottsdale, Arizona

Hello Arwin, iTunes error 29 is not a software related issue. The problem with "Error 29" is 99.9% battery related. So, charging your iPhone’s battery before connecting it to iTunes will definitely resolve the error 29 issue. If you have a busted battery, I would recommend you to get a new one at Apple Store or request for a new battery to Apple if your device it it is still under warranty.

Once the battery is fully charged, connect it to into your Mac or PC and downgrade it using TinyUmbrella. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the steps, then you can check this step by step guide on how to downgrade iOS 4.3.5 firmware to iOS 4.3.3, iOS 4.3.2, iOS 4.3.1, or iOS 4.x.x.

Then after downgrading, you can follow this tutorial on how to jailbreak iPhone 4 on iOS 4.3.3 using JailbreakMe 3.0. After jailbreaking, don’t forget to download and install PDF Patcher 2 via Cydia Store to patch the PDF Exploit / security flaw that was used by Comex on his JailbreakMe so that it can’t be used for malicious purposes.
