I have managed to jailbreak my iPhone on iOS 5 using Redsn0w 0.9.9b7 on my Mac. Everything went well after jailbreaking, so I decided to reinstall some of the apps and tweaks that were previously installed on my iPhone, such as SBSettings, WinterBoard, BytaFont, etc... However, after booting my iPhone into tethered mode, I noticed that all of my jailbreak apps, tweaks and even Cydia icon turned white. I again did a tethered boot, respringed my springboard and tried to hard-reset my iPhone but no luck. Does anyone else having this problem? Any fix for this? Thanks.>

Steps to Reinstall Cydia
Step 1: Launch Cydia (the white one)
Step 2: Then followed by tappingon the “Manage” tab at the bottom.
Step 3: From the Installed list, select “Cydia Installer”.
Step 4: Now tap on“Modify” button located at the top right.
Step 5: Lastly, tap on “Reinstall” button.
Steps to Update Jailbreak Apps
Step 1: Launch Cydia and go to Changes. Then under Changes tab,tap the Refresh button in the top left corner.
Step 2: Once Cydia completely downloaded and updated its packages, the app will prompt you with the option to complete an Essential Upgrade in order to successfully install the new Cydia. This process will take few minutes as it also updates other repos, apps, and tweaks that you installed on your device.
Step 3: The app will prompt you to confirm the update. Just simply confirm it and wait for Cydia to complete all the necessary changes. Once done, just simply close Cydia app and you are good to go.
