How to Fix Jailbroken iPhone 4 with Cydia But No Sources?

Hello guys, I asked my pal to jailbreak my iPhone 4, which was running iOS 4.3.5 with 4.10.01 baseband installed. He used Redsn0w to jailbreak my iPhone and after few minutes I got the phone jailbroken with Cydia installed. However, after launching Cydia, I noticed that there was no sources installed. What should I need to do? Any other ideas? Thanks.

Hello Danny, have you tried to hard reboot your jailbroken iPhone? If not, please do so by holding the Home and Sleep / Wake button at the same time (Ignore the "Slide to power off") until the iPhone shuts itself down and begins to restart. Then release the buttons once you see the silver Apple logo. Re-launch Cydia again and see if this fixed the problem. If not, then the only way to resolve this issue is by restoring and jailbreaking your iPhone again on iOS 4.3.5 using Redsn0w 0.9.8b4. To do that, of course you will need to download Redsn0w 0.9.8b4 for Mac OS X or Windows. You can get the Windows version of Redsn0w 0.9.8b4 from here, while the Redsn0w 0.9.8b4 for Mac OS X can be downloaded using this link.

If you aren’t familiar with the steps on how to jailbreak iPhone using Redsn0w, then you can follow this tutorial on how to jailbreak iOS 4.3.5 on iPhone 4 / 3GS, iPad 1, and iPod Touch 4G / 3G. That’s it, in this way you can easily fix this Cydia error. However, if for some reason that you still got no Cydia sources installed after re-jailbreaking, then you can try this guide on how to install Cydia repositories manually.
