Can anyone help me? Please… I am trying to restore my iPhone 4 on custom iOS 4.3.3 IPSW file using iTunes (latest version installed) which was created using PwnageTool version 220.127.116.11 on my Mac. However, iTunes won’t allow me to restore the custom firmware and iTunes is throwing an “unknown error 29". And in addition to error 29, my iPhone 4 is stuck in recovery mode and I won’t be able to kick it. I’ve tried to kick my iPhone 4 from recovery mode using iRecovery but I didn’t work. I’ve tried putting my iPhone 4 into DFU mode but it didn’t work as well. Please help, I don’t know what to do. Thanks.

Since iRecovery doesn’t work, you can try kicking your iPhone 4 from endless recovery mode using TinyUmbrella (Fix Recovery). Or, you can use a utility called Recboot. To kick your iOS device out of recovery mode loop using Recboot, all you need to do all you need to do is connect your iOS device into your Mac via USB and just simply click on “Exit Recovery” button to kick it your iPhone 4 out of endless recovery mode loop (or click on “Enter Recovery” button to put your iPhone into recovery mode). If you are facing iTunes 1015 restore error, Recboot will also be able to bypass it. You can download Recboot 2.2 for Mac OS X using this download link.
