Facebook and Other Apps Crashing on iPhone 4 Running iOS 5.0.1

I am currently experiencing terrible problem on my iPhone 4 running iOS 5.0.1. Facebook and some of the apps installed on my iPhone randomly crash while I am using them. I am now using the web-version of Facebook. What I need to do to fix this issue? Thanks.

Hello Aris! Is your iPhone jailbroken? Have you installed any jailbreak app or tweak before encountering this error? Anyway, if you are jailbroken, I would recommend you to uninstall the last apps or tweaks that you have installed from Cydia before encountering this error and then check your Facebook app. You can uninstall some of your jailbreak apps by launching Cydia and then navigating to Manage tab. Also, download and install jailbreak app called Crash Reporter from Cydia Store (via BigBoss repo) to analyze the root cause of the error.

On the other hand, you can uninstall and reinstall Facebook app on your iPhone. Lastly, if you are still getting the same error after performing the above tips, then I would recommend you to restore your iPhone 4 to stock iOS 5.0.1. If you are a jailbreaker, you can jailbreak your iPhone using the new Redsn0w 0.9.9b8. You can download Redsn0w 0.9.9 b8 for Mac OS X and Windows from here, and then follow this tutorial on how to jailbreak iPhone 4 on iOS 5.0.1 using Redsn0w. That’s it! Good luck!

Same here. Facebook and Facebook Pages Manager crash as they are opening up. Tried all to so-called fixes – no good. My iPhone 4 runs ios6 and was purchased unlocked new.
