Error 1600 when Downgrading iPhone 4 to iOS 5.0 Using TinyUmbrella

Hi, I have an iPhone 4 currently running on iOS 5 firmware. But after jailbreaking, some apps and the phone itself got sluggish. I have already saved iOS 5 SHSH blobs and am trying to restore my iPhone to stock iOS 5 using TinyUmbrella. But I always get error 1600 whenever I try to restore my iPhone. How can I fix this without restoring my iPhone to iOS 5.0.1? Please help. Thanks.

Hello Romy! Well, despite the fact that the latest version of TinyUmbrella will be able to backup the SHSH blobs of your device, there’s no way you can downgrade or use those SHSH blobs to restore your device. This is primarily because of the fact that the Cupertino-California-based Apple has started signing SHSH blobs differently in iOS 5 than what they normally did in the previous versions of their mobile operating system.

Anyway, you can use the new version of iFaith SHSH tool to save your SHSH blobs sand restore it to pre-jailbroken iOS 5 firmware. iH8sn0w already released the new iFaith SHSH Blobs Dumper that has capability to dump iOS 5 and iOS 5.0.1 SHSH blobs on iPhone 4 (GSM and CDMA), iPhone3GS, iPad, iPod Touch. This new iFaith will not just save the SHSH blobs of your device, it also save the APTicket of your device so that you will be able to downgrade it. You can download iFaith v1.4 for Windows (no Mac OS X at the moment) using this hotfile link. Then follow this guide on how to use iFaith to save your SHSH blobs and restore your iPhone. That’s it! Good luck…
