Hi guys, I am completely new on iPhone jailbreaking and unlocking. I just got my iPhone 4 from my parents as a gift. A friend told me to jailbreak it on iOS 4.3.3 as it was running on iOS 4.1 or iOS 4.0.1 (not so sure) originally. However, since I’m a newbie, I have accidentally restored my iPhone to iOS 4.3.3. Now, do I need to download the 4.3.3 IPSW file again to jailbreak it using Redsn0w on Windows 7? And, how can I get untethered jailbreak?

To get an untethered jailbreak, since your iPhone 4 is already running on stock iOS 4.3.3 with new baseband, you can jailbreak your iPhone 4 using Redsn0w jailbreak tool. Just download Redsn0w 0.9.6rc16 and save it on your desktop so that you can easily access it. Then, if you aren’t familiar with the untethered jailbreak procedures, the step by step guide on how to jailbreak iOS 4.3.3 on iPhone using Redsn0w 0.9.6rc16 was posted here. Hope this helps.
