Hello Jaxov, I have an old iPhone 3GS with 05.14.02 baseband installed. Anyways, I am trying to jailbreak and unlock it so that i can use it with my T-Mobile SIM. I know that I need to upgrade its baseband to iPad’s 6.15.00. However, my problem is I don’t know where I can download iPad iOS 3.2.2 firmware and how to put this firmware into my phone. Can I restore this firmware via iTunes? Or do I need to use a special tool for this process, hmmm! PwnageTool? I’m on Mac. Thanks.

You can check this blog post to know more and download Redsn0w 0.9.6rc16. And the step by step guide on how to update iPhone 3GS 05.14.02 baseband to 6.15.00 can be found here (05.15.04 to 06.15.00 | 05.16.01 to 06.15.00 | 05.16.02 to 06.15.00 ). Then unlock it with Ultrasn0w using this tutorial.
However, you should be note that there’s no turning back once you have updated your baseband to iPad’s 6.15.00. There’s no way to downgrade or upgrade it to other baseband, and you cannot restore stock IPSW when upgrading your firmware. In addition, you will also lose the GPS functionality of your iPhone 3G / iPhone 3GS once you have updated it to 6.15.00 baseband.
