Can’t Get iPhone 4 Into Tethered Mode Using iBooty; Black Screen and Stuck in DFU Mode

I can't get the iBooty v2.3 to get my iphone 4 to be in tethered mode. When the booty says it's done, it still shows a black screen and stuck on the DFU mode. Please help!

Hello John! Sometimes kicking out the iPhone of DFU mode can become a difficult job, but we have the solution for you. As a first step we recommend you to check if you have the latest version of iTunes, as it is important to have an up-to-date application in most of the cases.

Now, if you checked it, and updated it (if needed) everything is set to kick out the iPhone 4 fromĀ DFU mode. Here is what we recommend to do:

Step 1. Download iREB R4 and install it on your computer.
Step 2. Connect your iPhone 4 to the PC and close the updated iTunes. Launch iREB and select iPhone 4 in the pop-up window.
Step 3. Put your iPhone in DFU mode by following the on-screen instructions.
Step 4. If you followed the instructions well, iREB will detect your device and will patch the iBoot using the Limera1n exploit and as a result your iPhone 4 will be put into Pwned DFU mode.
Step 5. Open iTunes and let it restore your iDevice with the up-to-date firmware. You'll see your iPhone 4 kicked out of DFU mode. That's it! I hope this helps!
