It has been a while since we have heard news about the iOS 5.1. If anyone can recall, the iPhone 4S (or iOS 5 in general) has experienced some serious issues that significantly reduced its battery life. But Apple was quick to address the issue which is why iOS 5.0.1 was promptly released.
