The only reason iPhone Dev Team rolled out this update is to fix issues related to iBooks app which were being experienced by many users after jailbreaking their iPhone by using PwnageTool 4.0. Just like the previous version, PwnageTool 4.01 will jailbreak iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch 2G (non-MC model) while preserving your baseband from being upgraded to 05.13.04.

iH8sn0w is all set to release to updated version of Sn0wbreeze named Sn0wbreeze 1.6 to jailbreak iOS 4.0, and it will be available for download soon! Sn0wbreeze is a famous jailbreak tool and it works similar to Dev-Team’s PwnageTool, it’s used to create custom .ipsw firmware files. iPhone Dev Team has released updated version of Ultrasn0w named “Ultrasn0w 0.92.1″ to unlock iOS 4.0 on iPhone 3GS, 3G with baseband 04.26.08.

Dev-Team has released updated version of Redsn0w for iOS 4.0 GM build, latest version is named as “0.9.5b5-1″ and it brings support to jailbreak and enable multitasking and wallpapers on iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G, running on iOS 4.
