As you know that Motorola Droid on Verizon US don't support multitouch functionality in most of the applications, although the hardware is fully capable of supporting multitouch. The reason behind this would most probably be some iPhone patents in US, as soon to be launched Google Nexus One also has no multitouch on T-Mobile US.

Well, things are moving little hasty regarding Google Phone launch. Couple of days ago, we informed about possible launch of Google Phone named as Nexus One, then Mario Queiroz, Vice President, Product Management at Google confirmed the launch and today we have a report from REUTERS informing that the device could be available on Google website as soon as January 5.
