Back in May, Google announced its public service for mobile payments called Google Wallet. Google Wallet is the search engine giant's attempt to make mobile payments mainstream. Google Wallet is a service that aims to make users ditch their wallet, physical cash and their assortment of credit cards in place of an app for smartphones. There have been many buzzes and rumors that Apple will be adding another carrier to their stable that will offer their very popular iPhone. This particular rumor has been further given weight when back in January, Apple and Verizon announced their partnership. Verizon (CDMA) iPhone 4 has already been jailbroken on iOS 4.2.6 using GreenPois0n tool. What about unlock? Is it possible to unlock Verizon iPhone 4? Sprint is impressively promoting its WiMAX network via Overdrive 4G Hotspot mobile router. They are nicely targeting our favorite Wi-Fi enabled Apple devices. The US wireless carrier earlier showed WiMAX/4G support for iPhone and now they have introduced an iPad 4G case to carry an iPad along with wireless hotspot router. With overdrive you can experience 4G speed on your iPad, and you can simultaneously connect 5 Wi-Fi devices with mobile hotspot.

We recently shared some rumors about Sprint gearing up to introduce HTC Supersonic, its first WiMAX enabled mobile/handset. Sprint has recently released an ad showing iPhone using Sprint's 4G/WiMAX network via its Overdrive 3G/4G Hotspot mobile router. Basically sprint has introduced a mobile 4G Hotspot in the form of a mini router which serves any Wi-Fi enabled device in its coverage like iPhone/iPad. Some good news for WiMAX users/customers! Sprint as we know is offering 4G WiMAX services in US, their WiMAX network is named as XHOM, they are offering WiMAX services via CPEs(Customer Premises Equipments) and USB devices. There are no WiMAX/4G enabled handsets available for sprint customers now, the primary reason for this is lack of WiMAX handsets in market, there are hardly any WiMAX handsets available, one reasons for manufacturers not investing in WiMAX handsets...
