Comex has just released his much awaited userland jailbreak and its called “JailbreakMe (Star)”. With JailbreakMe, you can jailbreak iOS 4.0 / 4.0.1 and iPad iOS 3.2.1 on all iDevices including iPhone 4, 3GS (Old+New bootrom), iPod Touch 1G, 2G (MC, non-MC), 3G and iPad (Wifi+3G models). However those who have updated to iOS 4.1 (beta-1 or beta-2) cannot jailbreak their device with JailbreakMe v2.0

If you have upgraded to iOS 4.1 beta 2 (Jailbreakable) then you might not be able to unlock your device due to baseband upgradation.

Yup its true! Updating your iPhone to iOS 4.1 beta 2 (Jailbreakable) will upgrade its baseband to 05.14.01 which cannot be unlocked using Ultrasn0w 0.93. Apple patched the exploit which enabled Ultrasn0w 0.93 to unlock iPhone 3G, 3GS running iOS 4.0 / iOS 4.0.1 with baseband 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01 and 05.13.04.
