Who Are The iPhone Dev Team?

The iPhone Dev Team is a group of engineers in the iOS community that has developed a number of tools that enable the use of applications that have not been authorized by Apple on the iPhone, iPod Touch and the iPad in a process known as jailbreaking. These tools also enable the use of the iPhone on GSM carriers not contracted by by Apple which is a process known as unlocking.

Some of the tools developed by the iPhone Dev Team include Ultrasn0w, Redsn0w and PwnageTool. Members of the iPhone Dev Team include Comex, MuscleNerd and Saurik who is also the creator of the third party app store Cydia. This group of engineers are always working hard to ensure that all iDevice users have access to an unlock and jailbreak solution for all iOS firmware releases.
