Just last week, the famed jailbreak developer had teased on his website JailbreakMe.com on what is assumed to be the iPad 2 jailbreak which is based on a PDF exploit that is accessed through Mobile Safari.

Yep, within hours after Steve Jobs unveiled the all new evolutionary iOS 5 at WWDC, the iPhone Dev-Team has managed to jailbreak it as well. MuscleNerd of the iPhone Dev-Team has just posted pictures of his iPod 4G running Cydia and iSSH teminal. All thanks to Geohot's limera1n bootrom exploit, iOS 5 is only a piece of cake. :)

iPhone Dev-Team has just released Redsn0w 0.9.6RC14 which fixes @i0n1c's untether binary for those iPhone 4 users who were unable get iOS 4.3.2 untethered jailbreak using Redsn0w 0.9.6RC13. Just like previous releases, Redsn0w 0.9.6RC14 is only for those iPhone users who do not rely on an unlocked iPhone. iPhone-Dev Team has finally managed to jailbreak iOS 4.1 on iPod Touch 4G using the PwnageTool based on SHAtter exploit. For those who don't know, SHAtter is a low-level bootrom exploit discovered by pod2g of Chronic Dev-Team and it can be used to jailbreak iOS devices including iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4G and iPad.
